Editorial policy

Numbers

Ball sizes, racket lengths, weights, string tensions and pack counts come from each product’s own details. When a figure is not given for a product, we leave it out rather than guess.

Size and age bands

Age bands for balls and rackets come from USA Basketball, US Youth Soccer and the USTA, and game dimensions from the FIVB, BWF and ITTF rules, each named next to the figure with the date we read it.

Photos

Photos come from the brand’s own product pages. We leave out pictures with advertising text, comparisons with other brands or another company’s products.

Buyer comments

Comments are quoted word for word from buyers’ reviews, the mixed ones next to the happy ones.
